About Dr. Boucher
Dr. Andrea Boucher (aka as Dr. A) has always wanted to be a part of the larger picture of what pediatric dentistry has to offer. Her passion for oral and dental health, prevention, and nutrition are important components for Dr. Boucher in creating an individualized health plan for all her patients. At the same time, her caring and fun personality help to create an experience that every child and family will never forget. She wants everyone to feel cared for and leave with a smile each time they leave the office.
Dr. Boucher is a board-certified pediatric dentist and has served both the southeast and southwest coasts of Florida since 2013. She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Biology and Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Nova Southeastern University (NSU) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. During her training in dental school, her connection with children and passion for education and prevention ultimately led her into pediatric dentistry. She completed a one year hospital residency in Utica, New York at Faxton St. Luke’s hospital. She then obtained her pediatric dental speciality training in a comprehensive 2 year residency at NSU and the prestigious Joe DiMaggio children’s hospital in Hollywood, Florida.
She was born and grew up in Montreal, Canada and traded snow for the beach as her family relocated to sunny South Florida as a teenager. She has been an athlete most of her life as a competitive gymnast and also thriving in high school swimming and track and field. She now enjoys hot yoga, high intensity fitness classes, hiking, and biking. She also loves a good book, arts and crafts, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
